A trimmed-back new Edmonds-Kingston ferry schedule has dramatically improved the percentage of boats leaving on time, but not all customers like it.
On June 20, with the beginning of the summer schedule, Washington State Ferries cut one round trip on Sunday, and two every other day but Friday, allowing more time between departures. The changes were meant to improve on-time performance and to meet trains and buses.
